Dr. Farzin Arzpayma has worked through his career with a wide range of international satellite industry players: operator, prime contractors and suppliers. and has been involved in assessing the customer application missions, business intelligence, requirements, and has resolved the plethora of issues arising during the predevelopment, design and implementation of large and small GEO and LEO spacecrafts missions, communication payloads, TT&C subsystems, remote sensing payload data transmission and RF instrument electronics contracts.
Dr. Farzin Arzpayma recent focus in Luxembourg has been in business, and technology assessment of private space and wireless start-ups and industry customers. From 2008 -2018 he held a senior position with OHB LuxSpace board as procurement manager and later as business development manager in SmallGEO, EDRS-C and Microsatellite programs and proposals.
From 1996 -2007 Dr. Farzin Arzpayma had held multiple senior systems and consulting positions in multiple satellite TTC transponders, small space projects, as well as co-founding an in-orbit satellite servicing entrepreneurial endeavour in Canada and France. From 1982-1996 he had held a senior payload system engineer specialized in communications satellites and TT&C subsystems control and monitoring working at Thales Alenia Space and AirBus France.
He initiated a research work and designed a high speed 32 QAM Modem for digital radio link network while working with SAT (SAGEM) in France. From 1978 -1981.
